The H.P. Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission has been established by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh under Section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010 for the purpose of providing a regulatory mechanism in the State and for working as an interface between the State Government and Central Regulatory Bodies for ensuring appropriate standards of admission, teaching examination, research and protection of interest of students in the Private Educational Institutions.
To create a transformative educational experience for students focused on deep disciplinary knowledge; problem solving; leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and personal health and well-being.
